The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Accra Ghana

The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is built in honour of the great African and iconic leader of Ghana’s struggle for independence from British colonial rule. The park is one of Ghana’s top heritage sites, and Accra’s favourite tourist attraction. Its visitors include several world leaders and presidents. Inside the picturesque landscape of the park is the magnificent Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum, a marble pyramidal edifice where the remains of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his wife Fathia lay.
