The Google Trends trending music ranking for Ghana is based on Google Search data, that shows how often a particular search-term or musician is entered from Ghana relative to the total search-volume from the country.
Bisa Kdei’s rise to the top doesn’t come as a surprise. He emerged onto the Ghanaian music market with a distinctly mellifluous voice in Azonto Ghost, soundtrack to the movie in 2012. The following year, he released Metanfo which became an instant hit.
Although the young artiste continued to rise, his subsequent album Thanks Giving which has the popular tracks Baba and Odo Carpenter in 2014 didn’t make it big as his previous releases did.
Bisa Kdei bounced back on the way to the top with hit tracks Brother brother and Mansa.
